FAQs
-
RevSecure is an AI receptionist built for trade businesses. It answers your main line, catches missed and after-hours calls, asks the right questions, books jobs into Google Calendar (on supported plans), and logs every call into Sheets/CRM with all the details your team needs.
-
Most callers simply think they’re speaking to your receptionist. We use natural, human-style conversation and train the system on your services, suburbs and tone of voice. If you prefer, we can have it introduce itself as “the virtual receptionist for [Your Business]” for full transparency.
-
Yes. You stay in control.
You can:Have RevSecure answer only when you don’t pick up in time
Route certain numbers to AI (e.g. main line) and others to you
Use EchoGuard purely as a missed-call catcher on mobiles
Think of it as a safety net: if you answer, great. If you can’t, RevSecure steps in.
-
We never guess.
If the AI isn’t sure, it will:Collect the caller’s details and the issue
Let them know someone from your team will follow up
Log the call with notes so you can review and respond properly
You can also tell us specific topics it must not answer (e.g. detailed quotes, legal advice, complex pricing). We customise that during onboarding.
-
Our calendar integration is designed to avoid that. It:
Checks live availability in Google Calendar
Only offers time windows that are actually free
Respects your working hours, job durations and minimum notice rules
If a time is already taken, it won’t offer it. You set the rules; RevSecure follows them.
-
Most businesses can be up and running in a few days:
You fill in our onboarding sheets with your services, suburbs, pricing bands and rules.
We plug in your numbers, calendar and Sheets/CRM (or create new ones for you if needed).
We run a test phase with you before fully switching over.
-
Item descriptionYes.
Call data and booking info are stored in your own tools (Google Calendar, Google Sheets/CRM). We don’t sell or share your data with third parties. Access is restricted to what’s needed to run your receptionist and support your account. -
RevSecure can work alongside your existing team:
Handle overflow when lines are busy
Cover lunch breaks, sick days and holidays
Take after-hours and weekend calls
Capture structured data so your team spends less time on basic intake
Many businesses use RevSecure to remove the “constant ringing” pressure while keeping humans for more complex cases.
-
Absolutely.
We expect to tweak things once you hear real calls. You can:Tell us what to change (phrases, questions, order)
Add or remove services and suburbs
Adjust emergency rules, pricing bands and booking logic
We update the configuration so the AI keeps evolving with your business.
-
If there’s an outage or issue:
Calls can fall back to your normal number routing (depending on how we configure it)
You’ll still see your existing calendar and sheet data
We’ll work with you to identify and fix the problem
We design the setup so you’re never completely “stuck” if a tool misbehaves.
-
Yes. During onboarding, you tell us exactly what counts as an emergency and how you want it handled. For example:
“Burst pipe, sewage overflow, gas smell” = emergency
“Dripping tap, slow drain” = standard
The AI will:
Tag emergencies clearly
Follow your escalation rules (e.g. SMS on-call tech, log as urgent, no exact ETA promised after hours)
-
No. RevSecure is designed to qualify and book, not replace your expert judgement. It can:
Collect photos or descriptions (if part of your flow)
Capture rough job type and value band
Book a visit or callback
Final quotes and pricing decisions are still up to you and your team.
-
You’re not trapped.
Plans are month-to-month unless we’ve agreed a custom arrangement. If RevSecure isn’t a fit, you can switch it off and go back to your previous setup. -
We’re built for trades and service businesses where calls = jobs:
Plumbing, electrical, HVAC and roofing
Pest control, cleaning, maintenance and handyman services
Other appointment-based service businesses
If your phone rings with people wanting a job booked, RevSecure will probably fit.
